SOC:Gillard 'on edge of seat' over WC=2

Ms Gillard later autographed a soccer ball after playing with children at Redcliffe's
Peninsula Power soccer club.

She said the World Cup bid team was "cautiously optimistic" about Australia's chances.

Club president Craig Feuerriegel promised to display the ball on Friday when the result
was announced.
